CARIBOO MARATHON IS CANCELLED!
The Cariboo Marathon Committee has reluctantly decided to cancel the marathon scheduled on Saturday, 4 February 2012.
Due to marginal snow conditions and no significant snow in the forecast, we are unable to guarantee a quality event.
Racers who have pre- registered on Zone 4, will receive a Full Refund.

Challenge 500 – Soup Social Jan 14, 1 pm
We will be having a soup gathering
January 14 1:00 at the Lodge.
We will be presenting the first prize for the challenge 500/300 and explaining how the prizes will work this year -
but mostly it is just an opportunity to get together and socialize with other people who love to ski.
Who knows what the conditions will be like, COME ANYWAY.
Adult Skate Clinic Saturday 21, Jan
SKATING TECHNIQUE CLINIC
99 MILE SKI TRAILS
DATE: January 21
TIME: 10 AM – 12 PM
COST: $20 for club members and $25 for others
The clinic will be approximately 2 hours long and is designed for skiers with some experience in the skating technique to bring you to the next level in your technique. We will cover 1-skate, 2-skate and offset. (No first-time beginners please.)

Chevrolet Making Dreams Possible Club Coaching Grant!
The 100 Mile Nordics Ski Society has been selected as one of the recipients of a Chevrolet Making Dreams Possible Club Coaching Grant!
The Making Dreams Possible program is dedicated to the development of community coaches with the ultimate goal of improving the sporting experience of our young Canadian Athletes and helping them achieve their full potential. There were hundreds of club applications reviewed, but only a limited number selected, including our club! We are proud to announce that we will receive a grant of up to $2000 to fund coaching development.
