Cross Country at 100 Mile Nordics

The Perfect Spring Break Adventure

We still have lots of track-set trails for your enjoyment as we wrap up another great season of cross country skiing, so don’t put away your skis, poles, and boots just yet. Look for specials on trail passes (more info below) and note that the lodge will be open for rentals, light lunches, snacks, and hot drinks during Spring Break (March 14-20).

We thank all our members, visitors, volunteers, and supporters for your contributions during the 2021/22 season. We are looking forward to next year and continued success. The acquisition of a new grooming machine will make it easier to keep our current trails in tip-top condition and expand the amount of trails we can maintain. That means we can welcome more visitors, more often and grow the sport of Nordic skiing in our community.

With growth comes additional tasks and responsibility. We welcome one and all to consider joining our board. During our monthly meetings we discuss the business of the 100 Mile Nordic Ski Society and ensure resources are in place to support the organization’s current needs and future development. No special skills are required. Enthusiasm and a positive approach are all you need!To learn more please email: info@100milenordics.com

Skills Development Program

This is a great value and experience for youth aged 4 – 18. Forty young skiers were a part of this year’s Skills Development Program and five volunteers went through the coaching program during the 21/22 season. All of the participants showed improved technique and stronger skills. We offer “small group” coaching sessions to develop skills from the basics all the way up to competitive racing. Kids start with the basic strides on classic skis and can work their way up to skate skiing over time. Visit the Skills Development Program page on our website for sign-up details for next year.
